Inuit stone carving — signed expressive face with a bird, certified
Saisissant visage inuit sculpté à la main dans la pierre sombre : traits expressifs, yeux rehaussés, et une dent en os incrustée dans la bouche. Au dos de la tête, un oiseau sculpté se dresse — un motif cher à l'art inuit. Sous la base : signature en syllabaires inuktitut et vignette gouvernementale « Eskimo Art / Art Esquimau » (le système d'authentification d'avant 1990). Pièce signée et authentifiée ; artiste à confirmer.
A striking Inuit face hand-carved in dark stone: expressive features, highlighted eyes, and a bone tooth inlaid in the mouth. On the back of the head a carved bird rises — a motif dear to Inuit art. Under the base: a signature in Inuktitut syllabics and the government « Eskimo Art / Art Esquimau » tag, the identification system used before 1990.
